A Host Institution (HI) is an organization that provides you with the services needed to carry out your research (office space, resources, grant management, etc.). Host Institutions may be universities, research institutions, government agencies or other organizations.
In Grenoble, we provide you with access to GIANT: 30,000 men and women working together to build an internationally recognized innovation campus.
The goal of GIANT
GIANT (Grenoble Innovation for Advanced New Technologies) is an alliance of eight founding members who are working together to reinforce collaboration between academia, research and industry. This collaborative exchange serves to boost technology and innovation with the end-goal being to create added-value for business and society.
The goal of the GIANT project is to overcome the major challenges faced by our society thanks to research and development in the fields of:
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Renewable energy and environmental issues
